What does Diploma in Offshore Safety – One Year offer?

Diploma in Offshore Safety is a safety program initiated by the Government of India that deals with Occupational Safety issues associated with Offshore work activity. The training content and curriculum is exclusively designed to ensure that it can be followed and understood by people from across countries and by staff at different levels of their career. This course will bring you an insight on topics like Basic Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Prevention and Safety, offshore Safety. Diploma in Offshore Safety is a specialist qualification for people in offshore oil and gas industry who are responsible for ensuring safety as part of their day to day duties.

You need to clear four theory papers and a practical assessment:

PAPER I – BASIC SAFETY ENGINEERING.

PAPER 2 – OCCUPATION HEALTH AND SAFETY.

PAPER 3 – FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL.

PAPER 4 – OFF SHORE SAFETY.

Paper I & Paper 2 : 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks

Paper 3 & Paper 4 : 2 hours written exam – 10 questions (no choice) – 100 marks

Twelve-day seminar session extra fees attract (not mandatory) at GWG Business Center, Chennai, India. Experts available on all working days to clarify any doubts in the subject through mails and telecommunication.

You can buy the International Standard which is published by Green World Group. This publication is promoted by the Government of India.

Successful candidates will get the certificate within 30 days (from the result announcement date). Certificate & Mark List will be issued from Central Board of Examination & National Development agency, promoted by the Government of India. Separate certificates will be issued for distinction and first class.
